Pricing

At Mowing To You, we believe in transparency and honesty when it comes to our pricing structure. Unlike many others in our industry, we want to be open and clear about our costs, expenses, and prices. We have nothing to hide and want to give our customers all the information they need to decide if we're the right fit for their lawn care needs. Please note that we may not be the best fit for everyone.
If you're looking for price discounts, bartering, or price-matching, we're not the service for you. We have standardized pricing for all our services and strive to make a financially sustainable business that can serve our customers for years to come. We're not the cheapest option, but we're not the most expensive either. We're constantly working to improve our efficiency and give our customers the best price possible.

Factors That Influence Pricing:

-
Lawn Shape: Lawns with complex shapes, obstacles, and flowerbeds require more time and effort to mow, increasing the price. In contrast, rectangular lawns are quicker to mow and more budget-friendly.
-
Access: Limited access to your backyard, such as small gates or narrow driveways, can increase the time it takes to complete the service, affecting the price. Conversely, lawns with easy access and proximity to our trailer parking will be more cost-effective.
-
Clippings Disposal: Our standard service does not include catch mowing. But if you include catch mowing in your service the price includes hauling clippings to the dump. However opting for side-discharging and leaving clippings on the lawn can reduce the overall price.

FAQ

But my lawn is only small?
Regardless of the lawn size, we have a minimum service charge that applies. This is because our operational costs, such as truck and trailer maintenance, insurance/registrations, fuel, labor/work-cover and other expenses, remain the same. Additionally in the office time and effort into servicing each client, handling tasks like billing, invoicing, and customer support, which are factored into our minimum fee.

My lawn is a little overgrown?
For your initial mowing service, please note that overgrown lawns may require additional time and effort, potentially taking 2-3 times longer to complete. This first cut will incur an additional charge to establish clean edges and an optimal grass height. However, once your lawn is brought up to standard, subsequent mowing services will be priced according to our regular rates.

I want my lawn clippings caught and taken away!
We can help you with this but it carries additional costs and you need to ask for this service. We have to drive to a dump to dispose of the clippings, pay wages, fuel and catch mowing takes longer as a service at your property, all of this is taken into account.
