Insurance and Compliance
Mowing To You maintains appropriate insurance and compliance for the services we provide, including (where applicable):
Public Liability Insurance (up to $20,000,000)
WorkCover / Workers’ Compensation insurance (as required by Queensland law)
Evidence of current insurance coverage can be provided upon request.
We operate in accordance with relevant Queensland and Australian laws and safety requirements applicable to lawn care, gardening and cleaning services.

Service Agreement
3.1 Services Provided
Professional lawn care services including:
Lawn mowing and maintenance
Edging and trimming
Fertilizing and weed control
End-of-lease tidy-up
Custom lawn design
Landscaping services
3.1A Cleaning Services (where applicable)
Mowing To You may also provide cleaning services, including bond cleans, house cleans and deep cleans (“Cleaning Services”). Cleaning Services are provided Monday to Friday (Saturday by appointment only). Cleaning Services may have different inclusions/exclusions to lawn care services and will be confirmed in writing at the time of booking.
3.2 Service Scope & Exclusions
Standard mowing service includes lawn cutting, edging, and blowing. The following services are separate and must be quoted separately:
Green waste removal
Tree or stump removal
Pest control or chemical application
Soil remediation or turf repair
Equipment maintenance or repair services
3.3 Service Areas
We proudly service:

Cooloola Cove
Tin Can Bay
3.4 Hidden Hazards & Customer Disclosure
Customer must disclose all known hazards before service commences, including but not limited to:
Underground irrigation systems
Garden lighting or electrical fixtures
Septic systems
Underground utilities (cables, pipes, gas lines)
Concealed obstacles or debris
Pre-existing damage or defects
Mowing To You is not liable for damage to unmarked or hidden fixtures. Customer acknowledges responsibility for identifying and marking all hazards prior to service. We are not liable for broken downpipes older than 2 years or objects not highlighted to us prior to commencing our works.

Pricing and Payment Terms
4.1 Quotes and GST
ALL quotes, whether verbal or written, are PLUS GST
Final invoice amount will include GST as required by Australian law
Standard rate: $220 + GST/hour (2-person team)
Enhanced rate: $270 + GST/hour (3-person team)
Minimum charge: $100 for all clients
4.2 Payment Terms
Residential: Payment due upon completion
Regular clients: 7-day payment terms if previous payments were before payment date; otherwise due on completion of job
Commercial clients: 14-day payment terms
Accepted methods: Bank transfer, credit card, or cash
4.3 Late Payment
Initial late fee: $25
Monthly interest: 1.5% on overdue amounts (calculated daily)
Accounts may be referred to collection after 60 days
Mowing To You will receive at minimum its original invoiced price
Collection agency fees are the customer's responsibility in addition to interest charges and will be paid by the customer
Mowing To You reserves the right to suspend services for accounts overdue 30+ days
4.4 Deposits (Cleaning and Selected Mowing Jobs)
(a) A booking deposit may be required to secure a booking date/time.
(b) For Cleaning Services booked by residential/private customers, a 40% deposit is required unless otherwise agreed in writing.
(c) For lawn care services booked by new customers where the quoted job value is over $400, a 40% deposit is required unless otherwise agreed in writing.
(d) Deposits must be paid no later than 48 hours prior to the scheduled booking time. If the deposit is not received by this time, Mowing To You may release the booking time to other customers.
(e) Deposits are applied toward the final invoice total.

Service Conditions
5.1 Scheduling
Services provided Monday to Friday
Saturday available for overflow or emergency work
24-hour notice required for cancellation
Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will incur a missed appointment fee equal to the standard service charge. This reflects our travel time and crew allocation.
Cancellations due to weather initiated by Mowing To You incur no fee
If customer is not home or access is unavailable, a missed appointment fee applies
For bookings where a deposit is required, the cancellation notice period in this section still applies. Where cancellation occurs with less than 24 hours notice, Mowing To You may retain the deposit (in whole or in part) as the missed appointment fee, reflecting crew allocation and reserved time.
5.2 Seasonal Service Terms
Service frequency varies seasonally:
Spring/Summer (September-February): More frequent services due to rapid growth
Autumn (March-May): Transitional scheduling based on growth rates
Winter (June-August): Reduced frequency with maintenance focus
Pricing remains consistent year-round
Additional services may be recommended during peak growing seasons
Professional lawn maintenance is recommended year-round to prevent moss, weeds, and turf deterioration
Weather-dependent scheduling adjustments may apply
5.3 Weather Policy
Services may be rescheduled due to adverse weather
No additional charge for weather-related rescheduling
Alternative dates provided within 5 business days
Mowing To You is not liable for service delays caused by weather, equipment failure, staff illness, or other events beyond our control (force majeure)
Specific protocols for post-rain mowing apply
For major weather events affecting multiple service areas, Mowing To You will communicate service updates via Facebook and social media. Customers are responsible for checking our social media channels for weather-related announcements and service changes. Individual customer notifications may not be provided for widespread weather disruptions.

Customer Responsibilities
Clear lawn of obstacles before service
Secure pets during service
Mark or notify of hidden fixtures/hazards
Provide safe access to service areas
Ensure children are supervised away from service areas
Customer acknowledges that commercial mowing equipment may cause minor surface marking on soft or wet ground. Mowing To You will avoid service in unsuitable conditions where possible but is not liable for minor surface wear consistent with normal equipment use.
If customer fails to meet these responsibilities, Mowing To You may postpone service and charge a postponement fee
We are not liable for broken downpipes older than 2 years or objects not highlighted to us prior to commencing our works

Quality Guarantee
Diamond-level lawn care service provider
Quality Commitment: If you're not satisfied with our work, contact us within 24 hours with photo evidence. We will return to address the issue at no extra charge (one-time offer).
This commitment is in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Issues must be reported within 24 hours of service
Photo documentation may be required

Australian Consumer Law Compliance
8.1 Consumer Rights
These terms are subject to the Australian Consumer Law
Statutory guarantees cannot be excluded
Right to repair, replacement, or refund for major failures
Compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence
Nothing in these terms excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law
8.2 Privacy Protection
Compliance with Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)
Personal information used only for service delivery
No third-party sharing except as required by law

Photo & Marketing Consent
Mowing To You may photograph your property before and after service for quality control and marketing purposes. Photos may be used on our website, social media, and promotional materials. To opt out of photo usage for marketing purposes, notify us in writing at admin@mowingtoyou.com.au or 0488 352 232. Quality control photos are retained for 12 months.

Access & Safety
Customer must provide safe, unobstructed access to all service areas
If access is unsafe, obstructed, or hazardous conditions exist on the property, Mowing To You may postpone service
Postponement fees may apply if caused by customer negligence or failure to provide safe access
Mowing To You is not liable for injuries to customer's family members or pets during service hours
Customer is responsible for securing pets and ensuring children are supervised away from service areas

Seasonal Service Variation
Service frequency and scheduling may vary seasonally based on grass growth rates and weather conditions. Professional lawn maintenance is recommended year-round to prevent moss, weeds, and turf deterioration. Mowing To You will communicate any changes to service scheduling in advance.

Dispute Resolution
Initial resolution through direct communication
Mediation if required
Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT) for unresolved disputes
Governed by Queensland law
Exclusive jurisdiction of Queensland courts
Nothing in these terms excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Liability Limitations
Mowing To You's liability is limited to the service fee paid for the specific service in question, except where prohibited by Australian Consumer Law
Not responsible for pre-existing property damage, defects, or wear and tear
Not liable for damage to unmarked or hidden fixtures, underground utilities, or concealed obstacles
Force majeure clause applies for events beyond our control including extreme weather, equipment failure, staff illness, or natural disasters
Damage claims must be reported within 24 hours with photo evidence
Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or rights under Australian Consumer Law

Contract Termination
Either party may terminate regular service agreements with 14 days written notice
Immediate termination is permitted for material breach of these terms
Final payment due within 7 days of termination
Pre-paid services will be refunded pro-rata
Outstanding invoices remain payable regardless of termination

Changes to Terms
Mowing To You reserves the right to update these Terms of Service. Existing customers will be notified of material changes via email or written notice 14 days prior to changes taking effect. Continued use of services after notification constitutes acceptance of revised terms. Customers may terminate the agreement if they do not accept revised terms.

Acknowledgment
By engaging Mowing To You's services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, and that these terms are subject to the Australian Consumer Law.
